Temperatures in the Amazon could raise 2-3 celsius, which would be terrible and turn the forest into a savannah, and it's caused by us. This connects to our module in that we are discussing population, and as the population grows, we need more food. Most of the deforestation occurring is from farmers slashing and burning the forrest to create land for agriculture, to feed the population. There is no way for us to stop South American countries as it would be hypocritical to wag our finger, and it's their land and they can run it into the ground if they choose to, as sad as it may be.
